Vào năm 2005, Giám đốc điều hành của đội Renault đã mua căn hộ penthouse (tầng trên cùng của cao ốc) ở thành phố New York với mức giá lên tới 11 triệu USD. Mỗi năm, ông Briatore chỉ dành khoảng 2 tuần để ở Manhattan nhưng ông cũng có một nơi đi về khác sau khi bỏ ra 25 triệu USD. Để thuê căn hộ này, bạn phải chi ra 65.000 USD mỗi tháng.

Theo New York Times, ông trùm F1 cũng đưa ra mức giá 25 triệu USD cho ai muốn mua penthouse của mình ở New York. Căn hộ này được kiến trúc sư danh tiếng Alberto Pinto trang trí nội thất có 4 phòng ngủ, 2 phòng cho khách và có thể nhìn ra toàn cảnh thành phố.
